Digimon Season 1-5

Devimon - Champion Level

Picture
Devimon is the first major villain to face the DigiDestined, and is responsible for enslaving File Island with his Black Gears, hiding the Tags and Crests, and attacking the children directly and indirectly multiple times. Devimon controls the Black Gears, which perform multiple tasks for him. He generally uses free ones that when summoned will fly towards and eventually collide with a Digimon, bending it to his will and, sometimes, increasing its power and size, especially if the target is struck by multiple gears. There are also some that will serve as scrying mirrors to keep watch on the children. Another set of Black Gears are built into giant arrays as the core of File Island itself. When operated, they can cause the pieces of File Island to separate or rejoin Infinity Mountain. Although Devimon has a strong control over the Black Gears, and at one point is is stated that Devimon didn't create the black gears but mainly found them on File Island. As demonstrated in his fight with Leomon, Devimon also has the abilities to teleport and to enslave Digimon with his own touch, even brainwashing and controlling them.

When the children arrive, he indirectly attacks them with Black Gear infected Digimon, and puts the renowned Leomon and Ogremon under his thrall. When the children reach the mansion at the top of Infinity Mountain, he gives the DigiDestined an amazing dinner and have a nice hot bath in a sauna to be able to attack them when they are off-guard, then at night after Ogremon and Leomon attack he splits the island, and scatters them across the pieces, as well as sending more corrupted Digimon after them. While the children make their way back, it is revealed that he attacked them due to a prophecy stating that the youngest of the chosen children would destroy him. Although they told him they had no knowledge of the prophecy, he still didn't care, and even seemed to assume they lied to him about that. Shortly before the island reforms and the children rejoin, he sends a heavily-infected Leomon to kill T.K. and Patamon, who play a large part in the prophecy. Leomon is so strong that the children Champion Digimon cannot harm him, but he is defeated when Izzy shares his discovery that the children's Digivices can purge the corruption. After this, Devimon absorbs most of the Black Gears himself, and grows into a giant nearly the size of the mountain. He is able to defeat all of the Champion Digimon, including Leomon, but as he is about to kill T.K. believing that he is a threat and will destroy him, Patamon races to T.K.'s aid and thrusts himself in front of T.K. to protect him. At that moment Patamon digivolves to Angemon and is able to delete him with a "Hand of Fate" that also resulted in Angemon's deletion. Though Devimon is defeated, he reveals that there are many other evil Digimon just as powerful as his, and along others that are even more powerful, and gloats that even Angemon will not be able to handle them, as he cannot even defeat Devimon without sacrificing himself.

The Champion forms of the children’s Digimon are not powerful enough to defeat him, and it is revealed that they need to Digivolve to their Ultimate levels to win. However, in order to do that, they have to find the crests. Through their battles with him, they each find their crest, but it turns out that more is needed to Digivolve to Ultimate. He is often frustrated when people fail to acknowledge his over-inflated ego. Etemon considers himself to be a great singer, and often forces his minions to praise his terrible music. During their battles, the children meet Piximon, famous for training Digimon throughout all the Digital World. He trains them and helps Tai and Agumon regain their confidence after an attack from a wild Kuwagamon.

Etemon is ultimately defeated when the children go into an upside-down pyramid to find Sora’s crest. However, they also find Datamon, a prisoner of Etemon, who kidnaps Sora and tries to use her to defeat Etemon. The children come up with a plan to infiltrate the pyramid to save her, and while carrying it out, Tai is forced to accept his courage, activating his crest. One seemed to have a pair of sunglasses like his. Myotismon - Ultimate Level

Picture
Myotismon is a Ultimate Level digimon dressed like a vampire & his look and mannerisms are styled after vampires. Myotismon feeds on the fresh or deleted data of his victims, though he developed a taste for human blood during his stay in Odaiba. His victims were thought to have been afflicted with sudden anemia. His power depends on the absence of the sun, although he seems to be able to overcome this by creating a fog around wherever he goes. He has demonstrated telekinetic abilities at times - such as halting and crushing a rock thrown at his head with his thoughts, and moving MegaKabuterimon's Body into WereGarurumon when he was about to attack him, although the latter could possibly be attributed to the fog which Myotismon amplified using the TV station in Tokyo, as he resorted to his Grisly Wing to counter Garudamon's Wing Blade in the digital world, and to melee combat in his duel with WereGarurumon. He also showed an ability to deflect or dissolve attacks that were sent against him, only WereGarurumon, Angemon, Wizardmon, and Angewomon were ever able to successfully hit him with an attack. Even then, Wizardmon hit him in the back, and Angewomon paralyzed him first. Gatomon digivolved into Angewomon and destroyed Myotismon but then he digivolved into VenomMyotismon. Before he encountered the DigiDestined, Myotismon was the one responsible for conditioning Gatomon into a loyal minion through harsh methods while she was Salamon. Also, he took hold of the castle that Gennai and his brethren were preparing Digi-eggs, crests and Digivices for the coming of the Digidestined, which also contained a portal to the Real World. When the DigiDestined arrived, he used his minion DemiDevimon to try to keep them separated, but he failed each time, because he had learned of a prophecy that he would be killed by the 8th Digidestined Child. During this time he isn't seen fully on screen, he is mostly only seen as a silhouette and heard in voice, except for one instance when part of him was seen when he was hanging DemiDevimon over a burning pit. He eventually faces the DigiDestined himself when they are together. Though he initially held the upperhand against their Champion Digimon, he was surprised by Birdramon becoming Garudamon, who managed to hold enough long enough for everyone to escape. He later revealed plans to enter the Real World, taking many of his henchmen with him, to find and kill the child. However, the DigiDestined follow him, and for the next two days, the two groups race to find the child. To his frustration, they all proved unsuccessful, and many of his minions were killed during their searching. On the night of August 2, Myotismon learns of Gatomon's relation to the 8th Child. He then uses his power to isolate Odaiba from the rest of Tokyo, which also serves to isolate some of the Digidestined, making it harder for them to stop him.

After finding the eighth child, Kari, who was actually Tai's little sister, Myotismon easily overpowers the combined forces of the Digidestined's partner Digimon. When Myotismon kills Wizardmon, Kari's Crest glows and Gatomon digivolves to Angewomon, who destroys Myotismon by combining the other Digimons' power with Heaven's Charge and forming it into her Celestial Arrow. However, Myotismon was not truly dead. By reabsorbing his Alpha Bats, which had been consuming every energy source they could find, Myotismon resurrects as VenomMyotismon. By fulfilling the prophecy that foretold Myotismon's resurrection, the Digidestined manage to get Agumon and Gabumon to digivolve to WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon. Although VenomMyotismon was killed by WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, his "spirit" endured and exploited Yukio Oikawa by possessing him and setting in motion the events of Digimon Adventure 02, three years later.

His "true" body is actually hidden in his abdomen, it isn't until WarGreymon drills a hole through his abdomen that his true form, the "Beast Within" appear, it rarely comes out. He is the first Mega Digimon to be introduced in the series and it is because of his appearance that the DigiDestined learn about the Mega level. Those who are about to die are reflected in the eyeball-shaped crystal around its neck, and those who Phantomon graps are unable to survive. A Phantomon was first seen as a henchman of Myotismon and was briefly seen as the driver of Myotismon's carriage. One of his tasks was to lead the Bakemon during the invasion of the Real World, and it was him who ended the DigiDestineds' plan to immobilize the Bakemon. Phantomon also defeated Greymon and later attacked Matt and Sora with Tuskmon and Snimon who then fought against Garudamon and Garurumon. When Kari revealed to be the Eighth DigiDestined, it was Phantomon who captured and brought her to Myotismon when she surrendered to him. However, he was forced to back off when Greymon digivolved to MetalGreymon and was finally destroyed by a mere brush from Angemon's Hand of Fate attack, which was aimed at Myotismon who was brought to his knees in pain from the attack when the ultimate's powers were unable to make any effect.

However, Tai and Agumon accidentally struck a large, red, leaf-like object with ember from the fire and it turned out to be the tail of a very angry Seadramon, who retaliated by dragging the chunk of shore with the trolley car on it to the middle of the lake. Matt was the only one not on that part of the shore and leapt into the water to save the others. But Seadramon noticed him and grabbed him with his coils. To save him, Gabumon Digivolved to Garurumon for the first time and battled Seadramon, seeing him off. It is implied that a MegaSeadramon who was one of the Digimon Myotismon brought to the Real World is this Seadramon from his Digimon Analyzer profile. He appears in the Real World during the Dark Masters reign and disappeared back to the Digital World upon Apocalymon's defeat.

He was disguised in his hat and trench-coat before he encountered Sora and Mimi at the top of Tokyo Tower. Some Bakemon together can make a Lord Bakemon, that is a very big and powerful Bakemon. Joe and Sora, along with their partner Digimon Gomamon and Biyomon, encounter a group of people at a church in the Overdell who are really Bakemon in disguise. The Bakemon wanted to eat the two for their ceremony. When all of the Bakemon merge into Lord Bakemon, a giant Bakemon with blue claws, Biyomon and Gomamon digivolve to Birdramon and Ikkakumon to fight him. With the help of Sora's hat, Joe beats a rhythm while chanting "Bakemon, lose your power," as a mantra. This weakens him, and he is then destroyed by Birdramon and Ikkakumon. Bakemons were the ones who kidnapped everyone in Odaiba when the DigiDestined went there to find the eight child. In that part of the series, they were commanded by Phantomon (who along with them were under the employ of Myotismon). As the beings which composed him were doomed to death by natural evolution, he has to watch as the reverse world, the world of light, get to rejoice in happiness as he suffers. Cursing it, he desires to rule over it all and twist the world to fit him and his darkness. Apocalymon's arrival was written down in ancient prophecies. Coming from beyond the Firewall, he was originally defeated by the DigiDestined before them. A sadistic and tormented soul, Apocalymon wants to make the Digital World a living underworld to justify the darkness that composes him, as well as do the same thing to the human world. Revealed that his mere existence is responsible for creating the chaos in the Digital World and creating the Dark Masters, Apocalymon debuts as the most powerful enemy the DigiDestined must face. After demonstrating attacks from the previous enemies of the DigiDestined, he uses his Reverse Digivolve technique to revert all of the Digimon back into their base forms. He also destroys their Tags and Crests, sending the DigiDestined to the Data World as they fall into despair.

He then attempts to take both worlds down with him with Total Annihilation, his ultimate attack. However, the Digivices of the DigiDestined contain the attack so all it achieves is his death. The Dark Masters quickly defeat the DigiDestined and are about to destroy them when they are saved by Piximon who sacrifices himself so that they can escape. Do to the chaos Apocalymon had on the Digital World, the Dark Masters were started by Piedmon, with MetalSeadramon, Machinedramon, and Puppetmon joining him when they began their reign of terror throughout the Digital World while the DigiDestined were fighting Myotismon in the Real World. Prior to the events involving the DigiDestined, the Dark Masters defeated and sealed away the four Sovereigns. Also, they attacked the castle where Gennai and his brethren were preparing the Digi-EggsCrests and Digivices for the DigiDestined but failed in acquiring them. When the DigiDestined returned to the Digital World, they discovered that the Digital World was warped due to Apocalymon and the Dark Masters used some of the land's data to form Spiral Mountain with their base of operations, Piedmon's castle, on top. The Dark Masters outmatched all eight DigiDestined. Chuumon was killed by Piedmon, and Piximon sacrificed his life to distract the Dark Masters while the DigiDestined escaped. The DigiDestined managed to climb Spiral Mountain, and defeated each of the Dark Masters with some help from their old Digimon friends. When a Dark Master is defeated, his area of spiral mountain will disappear, like Metalseadramon, when he was defeated, the blue ocean round spiral mountain disappeared to reform on the surface of the Digital World. However, the DigiDestined discovered that the Dark Masters were not the true enemy; there was a far more dangerous threat, the Dark Masters creator and master, Apocalymon.

MetalSeadramon - Mega Level

Picture
MetalSeadramon was the ruler of the Net Ocean, which consisted of large Ocean space with a few little islands. During the time the DigiDestined were fighting Myotismon in Tokyo, MetalSeadramon had taken to ruling over the Ocean portion of Sprial Mountain. In his first appearance with the other Dark Masters, he was the first one to attack the DigiDestined and not even the combined efforts of the DigiDestined's Eight Champion Level Digimon could defeat him. When all the Dark Masters rounded up on the DigiDestined, Piximon managed to hold the Dark Masters off, while the Digidestined traveled off to part of MetalSeadramon's portion of Spiral Mountain. MetalSeadramon also commented that he would be the one to finish the Digidestined off once and for all, and since they were on his territory, he would be the first Dark Master in an attempt to destroy them.MetalSeadramon's first attempt to kill the Digidestined was by trapping them all in a beach hut and put them all to sleep by Scorpiomon and his Servant so they couldn't escape, while MetalSeadramon would use his Energy Blast to set fire to the hut. However, Mimi, and Joe fell behind and the rest were trapped in the hut. MetalSeadramon rewarded Scorpiomon with clams to eat, after MetalSeadramon looked in the hut discovering two of the digidestined were missing, he ordered Scorpiomon to get the other two, but he was defeated by Lillymon and Zudomon. He was dragged to the hut where MetalSeadramon had grown impatient and started burning the building, he then was surprised to find Scorpiomon screaming out of the hut and finding all the Digidestined have gone, he angrily destroyed his incompetent servant. MetalSeadramon decided to go after them him self, he defeated Lillymon and Zudomon after the Digidestined thought they could escape by Sea on Zudomon's back. Before he could kill them, Whamon appeared and swallowed the Digidestined's to save them from MetalSeadramon.

After a while, the Digidestined try to come up with a plan on how to defeat the Dark Masters and Izzy came up with the solution that WarGreymon could defeat the Dark Master MetalSeadramon because of his Dramon Destroyers, the claws covering his hands, which can really do serious damage to a Dramon Digimon like MetalSeadramon. He then sent his horde of Divermon to go after the Digidestined, who were safely in Whamon's stomach. The Divermon quickly found them and tried to catch Whamon, but he managed to get far into the deep ocean that the pressure was that much, the Divermon's swim gear began to crumble and shrink due to the pressure, however MetalSeadramon finally had enough with them and joined in the chase to catch Whamon. Whamon thought he lost him in a tunnel and resurfaced up to the surface in a bay, however MetalSeadramon also came up to the surface. Tai gives the signal for Agumon to Warp-Digivolve to WarGreymon to try out Izzy's solution. While Wargreymon kept MetalSeadramon occupied, Zudomon destroyed the remaining Divermon. At one point in the battle, MetalSeadramon manages to catch Wargreymon between his jaws and send him in the ocean. Whamon manages to head-butt MetalSeadramon to let Wargreymon to go and MetalSeadramon angrily launched his River of Power attack at Whamon, blasting a hole right through his body and killing him. WarGreymon avenged Whamon by using his Mega Claw, deflecting Metal Seadramon's River of Power and blasting right through him with his Dramon Killers, blasting all the way through his mouth and down his body, resulting in his death. MetalSeadramon's Ocean around Spiral Mountain began to disappear and then re-configure back to normal because of the Dark Master's death. After a while the dead body of MetalSeadramon dissapeared and particles flew into the sky, the same happened to Whamon, Unlike any other dark master. The Digidestined then decide to go on and try to defeat Puppetmon, Machinedramon and Piedmon with the new knowledge that the Digital World will be restored when they defeat the rest of the Dark Masters.

River of Power: MetalSeadramon fires a massive energy beam from the cannon on his face.

Puppetmon - Mega Level

Picture
Puppetmon was the smallest of the Dark Masters and the one who lasted longest fighting against the DigiDestined. During the time the DigiDestined were fighting Myotismon in Tokyo, Puppetmon had taken to ruling over the forest portion of Sprial Mountain. He did not take the DigiDestined seriously, and played with the children using dolls he had fashioned after them to control their movements and locations in his forest as he watched them on a TV monitor in his playroom. In fact, he kidnapped T.K. and forced him into a "hide and seek and destroy", with Puppetmon seeking and using a gun to make the game "more fun". Fortunately T.K. managed to discourage Puppetmon by calling him "boring" and asked if he could meet some of Puppetmon's friends. Puppetmon tried to make excuses but ran off, saying he'd bring a friend back. Puppetmon then hastily created a friend of wood and junk. But when he brought it back for T.K. to see, the boy had escaped - but not before destroying Puppetmon's playroom. This had seemingly hurt the child-like side of Puppetmon's personality, as his tone seemlike that of a child who has been denied a great treat, and snarled and he would get even with T.K. for being tricked, having his "toys" stolen, T.K. had taken the dolls Puppetmon used to control them from earlier, and smashing his TV and remote. While Puppetmon attempted to get revenge on the DigiDestined for his playroom being destroyed with a trio of GarbagemonCherrymon managed to use the memories of Matt to convince the boy to turn on the others, particularly Tai. Cherrymon told Puppetmon that he had succeeded in getting Matt to distrust Tai and would soon cause WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon to engage in mortal combat. Hearing Matt and Tai were going to "Self Destruct" made Puppetmon all too eager to watch WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon duke it out, but Cherrymon advised caution, saying that the Digidestined had something special. Puppetmon inferred that Cherrymon meant they had something that he lacked, and was angered at Cherrymon's lack of faith in his power. Enraged, Puppetmon destroyed Cherrymon. Despite his now-deceased cohort's warning, he still intended on watching his foes turn on each other, but the presence of a mysterious being ruined that plan. After the DigiDestined went their separate ways, Tai and his group decided to take the battle with Puppetmon to his mansion. By the time Puppetmon made it back, delayed by a battle with MetalEtemon, the DigiDestined used Puppetmon's cannon against him. Puppetmon fought the kids with some RedVegiemon, and consequently lost his "hammer", causing him to become frightened as the Chosen Digimon began to crowd around him. In a desperate move, Puppetmon used his power to bring his mansion to life in the form of a giant wooden robot, sometimes known as "Housemon", and instructed it to attack the DigiDestined long enough for him to escape. He then encountered MetalGarurumon after killing an unbeaten RedVegiemon who begged his master to take him along, despite calling the RedVegiemon "his friends" to spite T.K. earlier. He then tried unsuccessfully to use his strings to control MetalGarurumon. Matt came and explained to Puppetmon that no-one would listen to him because nobody was his friend. Hearing that made the marionette angry, and he charged at them head on. MetalGarurumon fatally blasted him at point-blank range with his Metal Wolf Claw; he was hit with such force that his entire body turned blue and froze. As he lay dying, Puppetmon heard Cherrymon's voice, and finally realized he never could have beaten the kids because he lacked what they had: true friendship. And with that, he died, which, in turn, caused the mansion to collapse upon his demise. Puppetmon's forest dissolved along side the Dark Master.
Attacks:
Puppet Pummel: Puppetmon uses his hammer's energy blasters to either attack the target from a distance or amplify his hammer's strikes.

Machinedramon - Mega Level

Picture
Machinedramon was the second biggest of the Dark Masters. During the time the DigiDestined were fighting Myotismon in Tokyo, Machinedramon had taken to ruling over the city portion of Spiral Mountain. Machinedramon was the ruler of the Digital City, which looked like a fusion of the prominent cities on Earth. In his first appearance with the other Dark Masters, he unexpectedly attacked Angemon and then attacked the 7 Ultimate Level Digimon before they could attack him and defeated them. After Puppetmon was defeated, the Digidestined wandered into Machinedramon's territory along a road in the middle of nowhere, until Kari developed a fever and kept passing-out, making Tai upset since this brings memories from his child-hood past with Kari. Izzy sent Tentomon to look for help, he soon digivolves into Kabuterimon and transports everybody to a city that has famous buildings from Earth fused into one big city. They soon find a house for Kari to rest while being watched over by T.K.PatamonGatomonSora and BiyomonTaiAgumonIzzy and Tentomon went into the city to look for a hospital in search of medicine for Kari. Izzy used his laptop and plugged it into the network to find one, unaware of Machinedramon's Hagurumon tracking them every time Izzy used his Laptop. Machinedramon sent his Metal Empire troops to hunt them down. Tai, Agumon, Izzy and Tentomon managed to escape the carnage from the hospital getting the medicine. The third time Izzy uses his Laptop and discovers that they are tracking him by him plugging into the network. Izzy decided to do a little trick, Hagurumon soon become confused when the network has been accessed from different points in the city, but this back fires as Machinedramon ordered plan Operation Elimin-8, which consisted of having Megadramon and Gigadramon destroy every single building. But this doesn't work, so Machinedramon decided to finish them off himself. After the house everyone was staying in blows up, Tai finds the others have escaped just before bombing commenced. Machinedramon appears and everyone runs into a building, which collapses into the ground because of Machinedramon's Giga Cannon attack. The Digidestined then sink underground. Machinedramon then assumed that they were dead.

Later on Kari manages to recover from her fever and is well again, Sora, Biyomon, T.K, Patomon and Gatomon then soon set off to find Tai and Izzy since they landed somewhere else. However they soon find a
WaruMonzaemon who is a Slave Master to use the Numemon to power Machinedramon's City. Kari then gets possessed once again by the odd spirit that spoke to the Digidestined through her body, while WaruMonzaemon gets distracted by Sora, the spirit possessing Kari frees the Numemon and they start calling her 'Queen Kari'. When Sora, T.K, Patamon and Biyomon meet up with Kari and all the Numemon, WaruMonzaemon bursts in to find the Numemon have turned against him and begin to attack, when Kari's body starts to glow in light, the energy from her allows Patamon, Gatomon and Biyomon to digivolve and give Numemon enough energy to get back up. WaruMonzaemon is then badly by injured and escapes, while the spirit possessing Kari's body leads the way to Tai and Izzy. WaruMonzaemon reports to Machinedramon that the Digidestined are still alive and Machinedramon is angry that he didn't tell him sooner and as a "reward", he chops WaruMonzaemon's arm off. Tai and Izzy are soon find Andromon who is trying to build up a resistance force to stop Machinedramon. Machinedramon appeared and Andromon managed to hold him off for Tai and Izzy to find the others. Soon everyone is back together, however Andromon is defeated, but is able to get back up to his feet. Not even the combined efforts of AndromonAngemonAngewomon and Birdramon can defeat Machinedramon. When he wants the first victim to be killed, Kari approaches him, but the Numemon cover his body to save 'Queen Kari'. The slug Digimon try to stop Machinedramon but were wiped out easily by the villain's "Catastrophe" attack. Kari collapses and Agumon is hit by a beam of light, causing him to Warp-Digivolve to WarGreymon. He charges up to Machinedramon, slicing him up "like an onion" with his Dramon Destroyers before regressing back to Koromon. Machinedramon starts to split and disappear. Despite being cut into pieces, Machinedramon survived and met a dying Kimeramon. They then DNA digivolved into Millenniumon.

Piedmon - Mega Level

Picture
A master of deception, Piedmon was easily the most powerful, with an ego to match. He is the most cruel and demonic of the four Dark Masters. Piedmon had the power to mentally control the swords on his back. He could also take on many shapes, seen in his first confrontation with the DigiDestined. He had the power to change other objects including humans and other digimon into key chains. He also appeared to have telekenesis; for instance he once remotely attacked Greymon while Tai and Izzy were being pursued by the armies of fellow Dark Master Machinedramon. The most deadly of the Dark Masters, Piedmon was their leader and probably has the most extensive history of all the Digimon the DigiDestined faced. He was around before the DigiDestined came to the Digital World to begin with and before the DigiDestined's Digimon were born, a product of Apocalymon's influence. Piedmon knew of the plot by Gennai and his followers to bring the DigiDestined into the Digital World to save it.

With an army of
Guardromon and Mekanorimon, he attempted to steal the DigiDestined's arsenal. However, he was unable to get to them. Gennai took the Digi-Eggs and flew off with them. With the exception of Gatomon's Digi-Egg and Digivice, that dropped somewhere on the Continent of Server, which explains why she wasn't with the rest of the digimon in the beginning, Gennai succeeded in taking the remaining Digi-Eggs and the seven Digivices to File Island. However, Piedmon obtained the Crests and Tags, giving them to Devimon to hide. Devimon hid the Tags in the Net Ocean while he scattered the eight Crests around the Continent of Server. While the DigiDestined were fighting Myotismon in the Real World, Piedmon and his three comrades MetalSeadramonPuppetmon and Machinedramon were able to take control of the Digital World. Piedmon lived atop Spiral Mountain, where he viewed his domain, which consisted of areas of the Digital World that he all turned in a lifeless wasteland.

After returning to the Digital World, when the DigiDestined first encountered Piedmon in the form of a clown, narrating their impending doom before revealing himself. From there, he easily defeated
WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon because he had far more experience. Before confronting the Digidestined, he sent his servant LadyDevimon to kill them, who failed. He fought them and nearly killed WarGreymon, but Matt and Garurumon showed and healed WarGreymon. Because he saved himself for the end, MetalGarurumon and WarGreymon were able to gain experience from their fights with the other three Dark Masters and back him into a corner. To avoid a losing-battle with them, he turned them along with Andromon and the other DigiDestined except for Mimi, Lillymon, Kari, T.K. and Angemon into mere key chains. He was briefly held off by Angemon, but then knocked T.K and Kari off a cliff. However, T.K was able to digivolve Angemon into MagnaAngemon, who easily beat Piedmon, and then turned everyone back to normal. Despite Piedmon's efforts to counterattack with his army of Vilemon, Piedmon was blasted into MagnaAngemon's Gate of Destiny, thanks to WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, which then sealed, thus putting an end to Piedmon.

As Tai and his group approached Piedmon's observatory base, LadyDevimon asked if she could be allowed to "punish them". Piedmon agreed and she flew off to battle them at once. The DigiDestineds' Digimon took her on with help from Andromon but Tai decided to have Sora and T.K. leave the battle to get Matt and the others while Angewomon battled LadyDevimon, which quickly became a bitter, and somewhat comical, cat fight between the two enemies, Tai and Izzy were infatuated with the fight but Kari took it a little personally. LadyDevimon nearly won when she tossed Angewomon to the ground, but when she tried to finish her off MegaKabuterimon blocked her attack, resulting in her spike breaking, after which Angewomon obliterated LadyDevimon with her Heaven's Charm attack.

Scorpiomon was a minion of MetalSeadramon, the Dark Master of the digital ocean. Shortly after the DigiDestined's first battle with the Dark Masters, they found themselves on a beach and managed to escape an attack by Shellmon, to come across what appeared to be a snack bar. Rushing toward it, Mimi tripped and Joe stayed back to help her, while the others ran on ahead, only to be attacked by Scorpiomon. He used his Scorpion Storm attack to knock them out and then MetalSeadramon appeared to give Scorpiomon clams as his reward. Scorpiomon loved clams to the point of obsession. However, as soon as MetalSeadramon realized that two DigiDestined were missing, he ordered Scorpiomon to search for them, which he did, chasing Mimi and Joe across the beach. Fortunately for them, he was not the fittest of Digimon and could not keep up - but when they started interfering with his clams, he attacked them again. Zudomon and Lillymon knocked him out, and dragged him back to the snack bar, where they rescued the other DigiDestined and left Scorpiomon in their place. When MetalSeadramon found this out, he grabbed Scorpiomon, hoisted him high into the air and let him fall to his death.

He was then attacked by the Numemon and although he easily defeated them he was weakened by the combined attacks of AngemonAngewomon and Birdramon who rescued the enslaved Numemon. When Machinedramon heard his news about the DigiDestined, he was angry at WaruMonzaemon for not telling him sooner. Keramon appears to have a joker's collar around his neck, and underneath it's mouth, it has what resembles a second set of eyes, resembling a face in grief. Keramon caused more trouble on the Internet by eating data. To stop the virus-like Digimon, Tai and Izzy, with the help of Gennai, sent their partners Agumon and Tentomon to his whereabouts to fight him. Infermon then escaped and hacked himself in the US military network, from where he launched a nuclear missile on the DigiDestined.
