Digimon Season 1-5

Kenta Kitagawa

Picture
Kenta is a player of the Digimon card game, but he too often loses to Kazu and has yet to win against him. Kenta often gets credit for the numerous jokes that Kazu tells throughout the season, as Kenta tends to be in on many of them, like the time he and Kazu pretended to be Digimon for Babamon and Jijimon when it was meant to be the other way around. He's soon partnered with MarineAngemon.
Kenta decided to go to the Digital World with the rest of the Tamers. Kenta was kind of jealous and upset that everyone had a Partner but him, which led him to pretend that he and Guilmon were partners (temporarily), when he, Guilmon, and a few of the others became separated from Takato, Guilmon's rightful partner. As they left to return home, MarineAngemon falls from the sky, after Calumon evolves most of the Digital World's Digimon into their Mega form, and goes off after Kenta again even after Kenta shoos him off although the little Mega apparently grows very attached to him during this meeting. However, some time later, he appears inside Kenta's back pocket, together with a Digivice. This made Kenta the only Tamer to have a Mega Digimon for a partner. Kenta understands what MarineAngemon is saying, even though it says only a few words. Kazu points that out and is amazed by it.

MarineAngemon - Mega Level

Picture
MarineAngemon appears to be an extremely small digimon, even smaller than some rookie digimon who is bright pink with large green eyes. He has a heart like design on his stomach, symbolizing his peaceful nature and kindness. He possesses a Power Ring as a collar on his neck. He seems to be based on the Clione or sea angelA MarineAngemon was among the Mega Level Digimon in Digimon Tamers that appeared to help the Sovereign fight the D-Reaper. Instead, MarineAngemon liked Kenta so much that he became his partner. MarineAngemon was an unlikely ally during the battle against the D-Reaper as his love-based attacks frightened the Jeri-Type Agent, as the D-Reaper was powered only by Jeri's negative emotions. Also when the Digimon returned to the Digital World, MarineAngemon was the only Digimon who did not regress to his In-Training form as he was already small enough to fit in the dimensional gate. He is quite small for a Mega-level Digimon.
Attack
Kahuna Waves: MarineAngemon spits out heart-shaped bubbles from his mouth that can either heal allies or cause harm to his enemies by bursting on contact and surrounding them in a burning pink aura.
