Digimon Season 1-5

Picture
In this series, Tai is 14 and is a junior high school student. Tai has grown emotionally by this time. Tai plays a major role in the first episode ("Enter Flamedramon"). When he senses that Agumon is in trouble, he dons on his trademark white goggles and blue headband for the last time, and mysteriously enters the Digital World and tries to help him out. Along with Patamon and Gatomon, he finds a cave that has a Digi-Egg with the Crest of Courage on it. He tries to lift it up and fails, which causes three points of light to rise and fly off. They are the three new Digivices, that DavisCody, and Yolei receive. After the battle with Monochromon, since Davis broke his square goggles in the battle Tai give him his goggles. Tai (along with the other older DigiDestined) act as mentors throughout most of season 2, but they're not above giving a helping hand to their younger generation throughout the series. It is hinted in the Christmas special that Tai liked Sora, but was rejected when she admitted to be holding out for Matt. During the middle / near end of the second season, Tai begins to wear his blue headband when they start a world tour around the world looking for unleashed Digimon. When BlackWarGreymon is created from 100 control spires, Tai and WarGreymon get into one final fight, using the power of Gennai's DigiCores. Although the battle ended in a tie, BlackWarGreymon admitted defeat and left with some parting wisdom from Agumon. In the year 2027, Tai has become a United Nations diplomat along with Agumon for the Digital World. He has a son whose partner is a Koromon.

Yamato "Matt" Ishida

Picture
Three and a half to three years after the end of the first season, at the age of fourteen, Matt became the vocalist and bass player for a rock band called the Teenage Wolves. He was very popular and girls were always running up to him wanting his autograph, much to his dismay. One of his biggest fans was the older sister of Davis, Jun Motomiya, who constantly pursued him in the storyline. One time, when Matt was going to tell the Motomiyas that Davis was going to be gone for a little while, Jun said that she knew he was lying, and blackmailed him into going on a date. She also wanted to go camping with him, but he told her to close her eyes and left her behind; she later tracked him down at the campground itself. His friendship with Tai changed considerably: while there was still a note of rivalry, it was a rivalry based on friendship. At one point when Tai felt he had let down Agumon, Matt punched him in the face to snap him out of it. Unlike in the previous season, Tai said, "I needed that." In the final episode epilogue in 2027, Matt grew up to become an astronaut being the first person on Mars. He is married to Sora and has a daughter, who has a Yokomon and a son, who has a Tsunomon.

Sora Takenouchi

Picture
The second season takes place three and a half years after the first series. During this time, Sora stopped being a tomboy and is now learning the art of flower arranging from her mother. She now wears a sailor fuku. Although she no longer plays soccer, she is in the tennis club and still joins the other Digidestined whenever she can. There are signs that show that Sora develops feelings for Matt, such as when Sora goes backstage to give Matt some homemade cookies during the Christmas Special. By the year 2027, Sora has become a fashion designer. Married to Matt, she has a daughter who has a Yokomon and a son who has a Tsunomon.

Koushiro "Izzy" Izumi

Picture
Three years later, Izzy is now in high school and was a president of the Computer Club. Izzy continues to play his technical role; he monitors the Digital World and alerts the new DigiDestined to upcoming troubles and problems. Izzy devises the plan to invade Ken’s base; with Cody’s information that a pipeline will cross paths with Ken’s base, he directs Agumon and Gabumon to create a diversion. Later, when Ken’s base is about to explode, Izzy tells them the problem and when the warp is back to normal.

With Willis from America, he also figures out that the new Digivices have three new functions, and dubs them the D-3s. Lastly, after school gets out, Izzy theorizes that the power of the D-3 is what really opens the gate to the Digital World. This theory proves to be correct, and gives the DigiDestined the ability to open up ports at any time and any location, rather than being limited to simply using the school’s computer lab to move in and out of the Digital World.

By the year 2027, Izzy sets up a research team to study more of the Digital World than what the human population already knows. Although his wife is not mentioned, he has a daughter who is partnered with a Motimon.

Mimi Tachikawa

Picture
During Digimon Adventure 02, a portal to the Digital World opens in the United States, allowing Mimi to access the Digital World. How she can enter is never fully revealed; the original Digivice cannot open a gate, since Tai's mysterious entry into the Digital World in the first episode. In addition to the clothing changes, she also changes her hair color before going back to her natural hair color. Another major change is that she is less girly in personality as she decked Sukamon and Chuumon off into the distance.

She plays an important role in the episode that Arukenimon makes her first appearance. She is playing with a bunch of YukimiBotamon/SnowBotamon, while Palmon is out collecting more food. While she is out, Palmon notices Arukenimon converting a control spire into a Golemon. Arukenimon orders the Digimon to destroy the dam. Palmon runs back to warn Mimi, who messages the others to come help. During the battle, after all five of the DigiDestined's Digimon are exhausted and defeated, Mimi messages Ken to come help despite the protests from Cody and Yolei.

By the year 2027, Mimi becomes a very famous chef who has her own cooking show that is broadcast worldwide. Palmon likes to help Mimi on her show but she tends to be quite clumsy. Mimi also has a son who looks a lot like her. Her son has Tanemon as his chosen digimon. Her husband is not mentioned.

Joe Kido

Picture
All his studying pays off as he is now a junior in a high school. He later is busy studying for the college entrance exams while helping the others out with the spare time that he has. One of his older brothers, Shuu, is revealed to be studying folklore under Professor Takenouchi, Sora's father.

However, Tai and Agumon accidentally strike a large, red, leaf-like object with ember from the fire, and it turns out to be the tail of a very angry Seadramon, who retaliates by dragging the chunk of shore with the trolley car on it to the middle of the lake. Matt is the only one not on that part of the shore and leaps into the water to save the others. Seadramon notices him and grabs him with his coils. To save him, Gabumon digivolves to Garurumon for the first time and battles Seadramon, seeing him off. Endigomon - Champion Level

Picture
Three years before, Kokomon mysteriously disappeared before his twin brother, Terriermon, in the form of Gummymon and their partner, Willis' eyes. Over time, consumed by his loneliness, he slowly Digivolved to Endigomon. In the dubbed version, this digivolution was caused by the same virus which mutated Diaboromon. By the summer of 2002, Endigomon began abducting anyone with the same kind of Digivice that Willis had. As a result, Tai and other veteran DigiDestined disappeared without a trace. Willis and Terriermon battled with him a lot before encountering T.K. and Kari and their Digimon, Patamon and Gatomon, who were visiting Mimi in America at the time she was abducted.

Willis started for Colorado, where Endigomon would be waiting for him. T.K. and Kari contacted their other teammates
DavisYolei and Cody, along with their Digimon partners DemiVeemonPoromon and Upamon to come to America. When the trio met up with Willis while hitchhiking, they needed to get to his Colorado house by getting there via pizza delivery.

But Willis and Davis missed the ride and were attacked by Endigomon. He defeated
Flamedramon and fled after taking a beating from Gargomon. Later on, the group encountered him in the place where Willis used to play with him. Finally recognizing Willis, he wanted nothing more than be with him like the old days. But when he smacked Terriermon aside for interrupting, Willis refused to get along with Endigomon. The Digimon fought back but the monster had the upperhand and was about to eat them when Angemon and Angewomon arrived in the nick of time to save them. Cherubimon used his powers to turn the new DigiDestined back into toddlers. He had to deal with Magnamon and Rapidmon (Armor) but Cherubimon managed to swallow the two Golden Armor Digimon. But inside the belly of the beast, they were confronted with an image of Endigomon, who pleaded with them to end his suffering by killing him.
